The MX 250 is the higher displacement version and has been used since 1977 for the various championships and mass produced from 1980 to 1985 . With the MX 250 Alborghetti is Campione d'Italia in 1977, while Maddii wins the national title in 1981 . The first series , produced from 1980 to 1982 was a very simple motorcycle, with the air-cooled thermal unit (built by Hiro, such as the 125), doublecross rear shock and drum brakes. This bike has slightly different features from the 125 version, more marked for maximum power. In the second series , produced from 1983 to 1985 , the motorcycle adopts new solutions, bringing the single shock absorber to the rear and the liquid-cooled Rotax engine, increasing the power of the engine, also adopting a mixed braking system, with front disc and drum at the rear.
