For 2008-09 the Pegaso 650 Trail carried on essentially unchanged, and the spec sources list the same engine, chassis and dimensions as the earlier Trail. It remained the softer-road, light-trail member of the Pegaso family, using a fuel-injected four-valve single, long-travel Marzocchi and Sachs suspension and spoked wheels. Touring touches such as the adjustable screen and storage space made it a practical commuter and travel bike rather than a hard-core off-roader.
