From 2003 the injected Pegaso carried on with the same five-valve 652 cc single and chassis layout, with the oil reservoir built into the steel front section of its aluminium beam frame. It remained the road-leaning member of the family: comfortable on tar, capable on graded trails, with a long-range 21-litre tank and strong single-disc front braking. It was the last Pegaso of this lineage before Aprilia replaced it with the restyled Strada, Trail and Factory models.
