2006 brought the biggest visual change to the RS 125 in years: sharp, RSV 1000 R-inspired fairings with a twin-lamp nose, a digital instrument panel with lap timer and a radial four-piston front brake with braided lines. The two-stroke Rotax single, aluminium beam frame and 40 mm upside-down fork were carried over. It remained a light, high-revving learner sportsbike that needs to be kept near the top of the rev range.
