The 'Pista' was a track-day version of the RS 125, shown at the Bologna Motor Show alongside Pista versions of Aprilia's bigger sportsbikes. It came without road equipment such as lights, horn and indicators, and instead had an unrestricted exhaust, lightweight fairing and race livery. A kit was offered to make it road-legal again.
