This replica wears the colours of Valentino Rossi, who won the 1997 125cc world title on an Aprilia, with sponsor graphics on the fairing, a magnesium-look top yoke, polished frame and swingarm and gold brake parts. Underneath it is the standard RS 125: oil-injected Rotax two-stroke single, aluminium frame and 40 mm upside-down fork. Like the base bike it wants revs, with the real push arriving close to 10,000 rpm, but it pays back a committed rider with quick turn-in and plenty of cornering clearance.
