For 2025 the RS 660 got its first major update. Throttle bodies grew 4 mm to 52 mm and other engine changes for Euro 5+ lifted output to about 105 hp, and it gained front winglets, launch control and an extra riding mode, while the chassis stayed essentially the same. Alongside the standard bike, Aprilia now sells the RS 660 Factory, which replaces the Kayaba suspension with a fully adjustable 43 mm Öhlins NIX 30 fork and an Öhlins STX 46 shock. The two versions share the engine, brakes and the claimed 183 kg ready-to-ride weight.
