For 2012 and 2013 the RS4 125 carried on mechanically unchanged from its 2011 debut, still Euro 3 compliant and still aimed at A1 learner riders. The fuel-injected four-valve single, six-speed gearbox, aluminium perimeter frame and radial-caliper front brake all stayed the same. The main news in this period was the Biaggi-liveried Replica, added alongside the standard bike in mid-2012.
