The RF Limited Edition was a numbered run of the RSV4 RF made only for North America and launched around the 2018 Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin. Mechanically it follows the RF with Öhlins NIX/TTX suspension, forged wheels and M50 brakes, but it was the first RSV4 to wear carbon-fibre winglets developed by Aprilia Racing on the RS-GP MotoGP bike. Its tricolour livery with a large 'A' on the fairing recalls Loris Reggiani's 1987 AF1 250 Grand Prix winner, and each bike carries its number laser-etched on the top triple clamp.
