This all-new RX 125 was shown alongside the SX 125 supermoto at EICMA and reached showrooms for 2008, borrowing its styling from the four-stroke RXV and SXV. Underneath was a fresh steel trellis double-cradle frame, a 40 mm upside-down fork and long-travel suspension, wrapped around a Euro 3 two-stroke single with a Nikasil bore and separate oil injection. It was pitched at young riders as a proper off-roader that could also handle the daily commute.
