The RX 50 of this period is Aprilia's learner-legal enduro: a liquid-cooled 50 cc two-stroke with a six-speed box, set into a full-size off-road chassis with a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel. The tall seat, long-travel 40 mm fork and disc brakes at both ends give it the look and stance of a bigger enduro bike, while the restricted engine keeps it within moped rules for young riders. These model years carried on the design launched in the mid-2000s with only colour and graphics changes.
