The SL 750 Shiver was Aprilia's first naked bike built around its new in-house 90-degree 750 V-twin, and it reached showrooms in mid-2007. Its headline feature was a full ride-by-wire throttle, a first on a production motorcycle, with Sport, Touring and Rain maps. A steel trellis frame bolted to aluminium plates, radial front brakes and a 43 mm upside-down fork gave the middleweight roadster a sporty chassis.
