The Race Replica was a paint-and-graphics edition of the second-generation SR 50, dressed in the colours of the World Superbike RSV4 that Max Biaggi rode for Aprilia. Underneath it was the regular SR 50, with the same 13-inch wheels, 190 mm discs and liquid-cooled two-stroke; Aprilia offered the replica look on both the carburetted R and the injected R Factory. It let young riders own a scooter styled after the factory superbike.
