The first Tuareg 125 Rally was the hard-core version of the family: a long-travel competition-style enduro with a large twin-section rally tank, an 18-inch rear wheel and a highly tuned Rotax two-stroke breathing through a 34 mm carburettor. It was light at around 100 kg and quick for a 125, but kick start only, no automatic oil mixer and a near five-million-lire price kept it a niche choice.
