The Tuareg Rally is a harder-edged version of the Tuareg 660, inspired by Aprilia's Africa Eco Race successes with the bike. It keeps the 80 hp 659 cc twin but adds stiffer linear-rate springs in the fully adjustable Kayaba suspension, a titanium SC-Project silencer, tubed knobby tyres on Ergal-rimmed spoked wheels, and a taller seat and handlebar for riding standing up. Together these changes cut running weight by about 5 kg to 199 kg, making it the more off-road-focused choice of the range.
