The 2005 Tuono 125 was the last run of the two-stroke version, still essentially an RS 125 with a nose fairing and flat bars instead of clip-ons. It kept the RS chassis, Brembo-equipped 320 mm front disc and upside-down fork, which made it one of the sharpest-handling learner bikes of its day. In many markets it was sold restricted to learner-legal power, and owners often de-restricted it for a big jump in performance.
