The Tuono V4 X was a track-only special built and assembled by Aprilia Racing under its Factory Works programme, following the RSV4 X superbike. Its RSV4 1100 Factory-derived engine, fitted with an Akrapovic titanium and carbon exhaust, Sprint Filter air filter and race ECU maps, made a claimed 221 hp, while carbon bodywork, a lighter fuel tank, billet parts and forged magnesium Marchesini wheels brought dry weight down to 166 kg. It also wore a MotoGP-derived carbon front wing, Brembo GP4-MS brakes, a GPS lap-timing dash and a Bol d'Or-inspired livery. Only 30 numbered examples were made, sold online, with buyers collecting their bikes at Aprilia Racing in Noale.
