The Chetak was Bajaj's long-running steel-bodied scooter, originally derived from the Italian Vespa Sprint and nicknamed Hamara Bajaj, the family's affordable transport in India. This 150 cc two-stroke version has a 10-inch wheels, drum brakes and belt final drive. By the early 2000s it was losing ground to motorcycles.
