The 304 is the last evolution of Benelli's small air-cooled four, a 231 cc touring-oriented machine in the same family as the 354 Sport and 350 RS. It built on the 254 Quattro with a bigger fuel tank and a slightly heavier build, and stayed in production through the second half of the 1980s.
