The 900 Sei was the smaller-capacity successor to the 750 Sei, keeping the unusual air-cooled transverse six-cylinder layout in a sportier chassis. This 1983 Sport version is one of the later cars, after Benelli had strengthened the clutch, revised the forks and replaced the awkward early fairing. Testers found it heavy and not especially quick, but praised its handling, brakes and exotic character.
