The Tornado Tre 900RS is the sporting, track-focused version of the 900 triple, with red and black graphics, black chassis parts, an oil cooler, a slipper clutch, forged wheels and radial Brembo brakes. Benelli kept the 900 RS in the line-up alongside the new 1130 from 2006. No documented mechanical change over the earlier RS was found.
