The C 650 GT and its sister C 600 Sport were BMW's first maxi-scooters, going on sale in mid-2012 after a show debut in late 2011. The GT is the touring version: longer and heavier than the Sport, with a lower 780 mm seat and a comfort-focused setup, built around a new 647 cc parallel twin with a CVT and chain final drive. ABS was standard from the start.
