The 2016 update brought the GT in line with Euro 4 rules through revised engine mapping and a new single silencer, while a retuned CVT with a wider ratio spread and new clutch linings made it pull away more briskly and lifted top speed slightly. Suspension was softened for comfort, ASC traction control became standard, and Side View Assist blind-spot warning was a new option. Visual changes included new rear side panels, a new tail light and redesigned instruments.
