The Concept CE 02 was a small electric city two-wheeler that BMW Motorrad revealed on 1 September 2021, a week ahead of IAA Mobility in Munich. BMW pitched it as neither a motorcycle nor a scooter, aimed at riders from 16 upwards with little or no riding experience, with a low flat body, a long single seat, 15-inch disc wheels and an 11 kW motor giving about 90 km of range. It led to the production CE 02, listed from 2023 with an 11 kW peak motor and 1.96 kWh battery packs.
