The Concept Path 22 was BMW Motorrad's first take on a scrambler. It was built on the R nineT and unveiled at the Wheels & Waves festival in Biarritz in June 2015. It was designed with the Southsiders MC club, artist Ornamental Conifer and surfboard shaper Mason Dyer, and it carries a folding surfboard rack. Other features include high-mounted Akrapovic pipes, studded tyres on milled aluminium wheels, a Motogadget instrument and Öhlins suspension with extra travel. BMW presented it as a one-off interpretation and announced no production plans at the time.
