The F 450 R is the roadster of the F 450 family, taking the GS's 420 cc twin and putting it in a lower, shorter naked chassis with 17-inch cast wheels, 140 mm of travel and a 790 mm seat. Its styling borrows from the S 1000 R, and the engine gets a road-focused tune with its own exhaust note. At 175 kg ready to ride it targets A2 licence riders and effectively replaces the G 310 R as BMW's entry naked bike.
