For 2009 the F 800 GS carried on essentially unchanged from its launch year. The spec stayed the same: 85 hp twin, 230/215 mm suspension travel, wire-spoke 21/17-inch wheels, with ABS, heated grips, an on-board computer and a centre stand all on the options list. A 91-octane engine map was also offered for markets with lower-grade fuel.
