The F 800 GT arrived for 2013 as the replacement for the F 800 ST, aimed at sport-touring riders. Power rose from 85 to 90 hp, and it gained a longer swingarm, lighter wheels, better wind protection, higher bars with a more relaxed riding position and standard ABS. The clean toothed-belt final drive was kept, and ASC and ESA were offered as options.
