The F 850 GS was the off-road-biased member of BMW's 2018 mid-size GS generation, using the full 95 hp version of the new 853 cc twin with a 270-degree firing order and two balance shafts. A 43 mm upside-down fork, a 21-inch spoked front wheel and a taller seat suit gravel and trail riding. The 2019 bike was unchanged from launch, with ABS and ASC standard and Pro modes, ESA and the TFT dash optional.
