BMW updated the mid-size GS family for 2021 (announced July 2020): ABS Pro and Dynamic Traction Control became standard, full LED lighting and a USB socket were added, throttle response in Dynamic mode was reworked and the Pro riding modes gained engine-brake control. The engine moved to Euro 5 while headline figures stayed put. A black-and-yellow 40 Years GS Edition was offered alongside the regular colours for this year only.
