BMW file

After the revived R 100RS sold better than expected, BMW restarted the RT in 1987 on the same basis: a 60 hp low-compression boxer, Monolever single-sided swingarm, 18-inch cast wheels and a rear drum brake, with the big touring fairing. Cycle World found the engine smooth with strong midrange, but the suspension soft and the seat hard.
