The Special Edition was a run of the 2005 R 1150 GS Adventure marking 25 years of the GS. It wore Alpine white and blue paint with a grey and blue seat and came with Integral ABS, engine bars, heated grips and clear indicators fitted as standard. Only 90 were allocated to the UK, and mechanically it matched the regular Adventure.
