The R 12 G/S revives the look of the 1980 R 80 G/S, BMW's original adventure bike, on the R 12 platform. It pairs the 109 hp air/oil-cooled boxer with long-travel fully adjustable suspension, a 21-inch front wheel and cross-spoke rims, and an Enduro mode with switchable traction control. The optional Enduro Package Pro adds an 18-inch rear wheel, grippier footpegs, taller bars and an Enduro Pro riding mode for more serious off-road use.
