BMW file

The R 1200 C was BMW's first cruiser, launched in 1997 and made famous by its rooftop jump in the Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. It used a detuned, torque-focused version of the 1170 cc four-valve oilhead boxer (61 hp at 5000 rpm, 98 Nm at 3000 rpm) in a long, low chassis with Telelever front end, Monolever rear, chrome-heavy styling, cross-spoke wheels and a fold-up pillion seat that doubled as a backrest.
