This special version of the 2009 R 1200 GS marked the 500,000th GS built and was the first GS offered in Alpine White. It added black cross-spoke wheels, a front mudguard extension, a black oil-cooler spoiler, a two-tone grey and black seat set 20 mm higher than standard, an aluminium cylinder-head guard and, outside the US, a tinted screen. Mechanically it matched the standard 105 hp R 1200 GS.
