For 2016 the liquid-cooled GS Adventure continued essentially unchanged, keeping the 125 hp boxer, 30-litre tank, Telelever/Paralever chassis and standard ABS, traction control and two riding modes. Extra riding modes and semi-active suspension remained on the options list.
