Part of BMW Motorrad UK's 'Iconic 100' collection celebrating BMW's centenary in 2016: 100 individually numbered examples each of the R 1200 GS, GS Adventure, RS and RT. The GS Iconic was based on the R 1200 GS TE Alpine and wore rally-style paint recalling BMW's 1980s Dakar bikes, with a red diamond-stitched seat embossed 'Iconic 100'. The changes were cosmetic only.
