The Triple Black was a 2011 dress-up of the DOHC R 1200 GS, finished in sapphire black metallic with a black engine, fork and cross-spoke wheels, and asphalt-grey swingarm, subframe and valve covers, plus a black seat with an embroidered GS logo. It was sold with BMW's Premium Package (Enduro ESA, heated grips, on-board computer, hand guards, Integral ABS and pannier mounts) as standard. Underneath it is the regular 110 hp GS, and a Triple Black version of the GS Adventure followed later in 2011.
