A special model of the air/oil-cooled R 1200 R that played up its sporty side through contrast colours: light white tank, mudguard and panels against a black drivetrain and wheels, an asphalt grey frame, matt black swingarm and wishbone and black anodised fork tubes. A sports windshield and sports seat were fitted as standard; mechanically it matched the regular R 1200 R.
