The 2018 R 1200 R is the final model year of the water-cooled roadster before the ShiftCam R 1250 R took over. It pairs the 125 hp liquid/air-cooled boxer with an S 1000 RR-derived upside-down fork and a Paralever rear, giving a naked bike that is equally happy commuting, touring or being ridden hard. Options such as Dynamic ESA, traction control and riding modes let owners tailor it, and it was offered in several colour schemes.
