The 2023 R 1250 R kept the 136 hp ShiftCam boxer but raised the standard equipment: Dynamic Traction Control, ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control became standard, an ECO riding mode joined Rain and Road, and LED indicators and a TFT dash with a lean-angle Sport screen were fitted. Adaptive cornering lights and heated seats were among the new options.
