The Superhooligan is a one-off racer that BMW's Custom Speed Shop built on an R 1300 R. It marks 50 years since Steve McLaughlin won the first AMA Superbike race at Daytona in 1976 on a Butler & Smith R 90 S. It carries the number 83, R 90 S-era paint, wide bars and number boards. The hardware includes an M 1000 RR carbon front wheel, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust and Wilbers suspension, with the fork lengthened for more lean angle. Brand ambassador Nate Kern raced it in the Super Hooligan class at the 84th Daytona 200 weekend in March 2026.
