The R 18 100 Years was a numbered run of 1,923 bikes marking a century of BMW motorcycles, built alongside an R nineT 100 Years. Mechanically it is a base R 18, but it wears the Classic Chrome finish: black paint with white double pinstripes, lots of chrome on the controls, engine covers and brake calipers, an Avus Black engine and driveline, a black and oxblood diamond-stitched seat and chromed Akrapovic silencers. Adaptive headlight, reverse assist, cruise control and heated grips were standard.
