BMW file

BMW's sporting 600 of the early 1950s, launched at the 1951 Frankfurt show and advertised as Germany's first 100 mph production motorcycle. It shared its frame and dimensions with the touring R 67 but had a higher-compression engine with bigger valves and carburettors, a stronger crankcase and the two-fin rocker covers that became a BMW sports hallmark. Only 1,452 were made before the R 69 replaced it.
