For 2011 the S 1000 RR could again be ordered in BMW Motorsport colours, the white, red and blue scheme that echoed the factory World Superbike team. The bike beneath was the unchanged 193 hp first-generation superbike with its ride-by-wire riding modes and optional Race ABS and traction control. The livery was the only thing separating it from a standard 2011 S 1000 RR.
