A one-year, better-equipped version of BSA's 250 single, with a separate oil tank, four-speed gearbox with a choice of hand or foot change, steering damper and adjustable bars. It is often regarded as one of the best-looking pre-war BSAs and was dropped when the range was redesigned for 1937.
