For 2006 the Lightning got a lighter, stiffer swingarm, an easier-shifting gearbox, a new Goodyear Hibrex belt with Flexten Plus, and a relocated air intake. A Valencia Orange Translucid bodywork option with translucent amber wheels was added. The streetfighter character is unchanged.
