The XB12XT is the road-biased version of the Ulysses adventure-sport twin, with an air-cooled 1203 cc Sportster-based V-twin, fuel stored in the frame and oil in the swingarm. It rides lower and is set up for tarmac, with a belt drive and a single-sided front brake. Buell offered it with panniers and a tall screen for touring.
