The Evolution-era Mito 125 was a road-going replica of a GP 125, with Tamburini-penned bodywork reminiscent of the Ducati 916 and a twin-spar aluminium frame. This 1997-98 version uses a seven-speed box and a liquid-cooled reed-valve two-stroke with electrically controlled power valve. The swingarm borrows its gull-wing shape from racing bikes so it can clear the big expansion chamber.
