The V-Raptor 1000 differs from the standard Raptor mainly in its radical nosecone that blends into the fuel tank above the wide bars. It keeps the Suzuki-derived 996 cc injected V-twin, which the page credits with strong power across the rev range and smoother delivery thanks to Cagiva's injection and exhaust tuning. Cagiva pitched it at Ducati's air-cooled Monster 900.
